Since 2005, The French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) is leading the French joint ministerial CBRNE research and development program on behalf of the french public authorities.
The actions, conducted with many academic partners, focus of the development of innovative technologies in the field of detection, identification, diagnosis, medical counter-measures and decontamination against CBRNE measurement agents.
The CEA is leading this research (TRL maturity scale from 1 to 5) with the constant aim of finding an industrial relay for proven laboratory prototypes and satisfying the end-users.
This has led to the culmination of more than seventeen technological transfers.
The interdepartmental CBRNE R&D program is extended and completed by a set of collaborative actions, carried out at the national (ANR) or Eutopean (FP7 then H2020).
